On June 4, 2024, the finals of the Xiongan Future City Scenario "Xiongan Near-Zero Carbon Building Technology Application Competition" kicked off at the Xiongan New Area China Power Construction Xiongan Impression Hall. With the theme of "Promoting Near-Zero Carbon Technology and Creating a Green Model City", the competition is hosted by the Xiong'an Future City Scenario Organizing Committee and is led by the Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The new autoclaved sand aerated concrete low internal stress insulation composite wall panel system promoted by Beijing SOHO Building Materials Group has entered the high-performance thermal insulation materials final track. The organizing committee comprehensively and objectively evaluated the technology, practicality and generalizability of the entries. In the end, SOHO's product stood out among the 39 participating products and ranked among the top five.

The group focuses on a new low-carbon system for enclosure walls to promote green and high-quality development. The plates developed have the following characteristics:

(1) Effectively improve the thermal insulation performance of ordinary aerated concrete slabs, and achieve a single wall that meets 80%, ultra-low energy consumption and other energy-saving requirements;

(2) The wall is completed in a factory, which can effectively improve construction efficiency, reduce construction costs, and realize the industrialization of the building envelope system;

(3) The wall has a built-in high-efficiency and low internal stress patented insulation layer, which solves the disadvantages of the traditional external insulation method and ensures the safety of the wall;

(4) The base layer of the exterior facade decoration is made of aerated concrete, and the surface of the base layer is smooth, which avoids the quality problems of hollowing out and cracking of the surface layer of traditional external insulation.

This product is suitable for civil, industrial and commercial buildings with a building height of 100m and below in areas with seismic fortification intensity of 8 degrees and below; prefabricated low-energy buildings, new farmhouse buildings, 80% energy-saving buildings and ultra-low energy buildings (reinforced concrete frame structures , frame-shear wall structure, concrete special-shaped column structure, residential building concrete special-shaped column structure, steel structure) and other peripheral retaining walls.
